Offered for sale in New Zealand for $29,950 NZ.

This vehicle was first registered new in New Zealand in November 1960, and spent most of it's life (Two owners and 54000 miles)in the South Island. Odometer indicates 58000 miles which looking at the overall condition of the car is genuine.
There are no rust issues, the interior is absolutely mint and the shut faces and gaps are excellent. The paintwork(Non-metallic Claret) was refurbished earlier this year, and the chromework is all good.
On the open road the vehicle drives and handles superbly.
The original Moss gearbox has a good second gear synchro, and changes up and down as it should.Oil pressure is excellent and the engine is quiet.
And in overdrive it is still capable of putting more than 100 plus miles into the hour.(Not that it's been tried Officer).
Being an early Mark Two(No 289) is has a few unusual features which are evident on inspection.
The tool kit is complete and the seventies style radio works.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
