1968 Jaguar 420 Compact Manual Overdrive $49,990

Australian delivered January 1968 Jaguar 420 compact with matching numbers, VIN P1F5844DN. The DN suffix meaning she is a factory build four speed manual with overdrive, produced in limited numbers for a short period of time. These relatively rare cars are the last and arguably the best of the compact Jaguars notably, MK1, 2 and S Type before the introduction of the XJ series in 1968. Excellent condition inside and out it’s predominately original factory black paintwork is still impressive although an abundance of love by its previous owners have caused it to wear a little thin in spots. The car is rust free and never been in an accident and comes with a large invoice file, full documented history, original owner manual, photo archive and Heritage Certificate. Genuine 101,466 miles and all mechanicals including its 4.2L DOHC engine, gearbox, clutch, overdrive system, power steering, instruments and air conditioning are all in good working order. The all leather interior has undergone a complete restoration using the finest materials with particular attention to maintaining original door card patterns, seat pleating and seams and all instruments have been rebuilt. This beautiful Jaguar represents real value today, nothing to spend and very enjoyable to drive. Inspection a must, any test welcome.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
