Regularly serviced by experts in a workshop specializing in classic Jaguars…

Location: Neuss, Germany

Very well-maintained vehicle.

Non-smoking, always garaged.

Reliable and proven on long journeys.

Cared for with love, driven with pleasure.

Regularly serviced by experts at a workshop specializing in classic Jaguars, with various parts regularly replaced.

Black, left-hand drive, sunroof, km/h speedometer, manual transmission

Exceptionally rare in this color and configuration.

In my opinion, the best combination for this model.

The manual transmission is more robust, reliable, and fuel-efficient than the automatic.

Furthermore, it preserves the car's sporty character, as the old BorgWarner automatic transmission is considered outdated by today's standards, makes the car very sluggish, consumes a lot of power, and increases fuel consumption by at least 2 liters per 100 km.

The engine was rebuilt approximately 30,000 km ago.

Originally delivered to Sweden in Continental Europe.

Therefore, it's left-hand drive and has a factory-installed odometer in kilometers.

Imported from Sweden to Germany in 2010.

An appraisal from 2010 already certified a value of €35,000.

Since then, a number of repairs have been carried out on the vehicle.

Tires and bumpers were replaced in 2010.

In 2011, the fuel pump, brake booster, brake pads, and battery were replaced.

In 2013, the radiator core was replaced.

In 2014, the carpets were replaced and bodywork was carried out.

In 2017, the cylinder head was overhauled and extensive maintenance was performed.

In 2018, the carburetor was overhauled and the battery was replaced.

The odometer currently reads approximately 60,800 km and has been documented since 1982 at 35,174 km.

Owned by me since 2018.

Maintenance inspection and MOT renewed in 2022.

The master brake cylinder, clutch master cylinder, and slave cylinder were overhauled.

In 2024, the carburetors were cleaned and readjusted.

The two electric fuel pumps and fuel filters were also replaced.

This is a private sale, meaning the item is sold without warranty, guarantee, liability for defects, return, exchange, or any other assurances!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
