This 1950 Jaguar Mk V was purchased by the current owner around 10 years ago and subsequently underwent refurbishment work. Finished in dark blue, the car is powered by a 3.5-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission. It rides on light blue-finished steel wheels mounted with whitewall tires and is further equipped with an independent front suspension, hydraulic drum brakes, dual SU carburetors, and a sunroof. Inside, red leather upholstery is accompanied by wood trim and Smiths gauges. This Mk V 3.5L is now offered on dealer consignment by a BaT Local Partner with a clean North Carolina title.

This example is finished in dark blue and features a sunroof, a Leaper mascot on the radiator cap, driving lamps, rear-hinged front doors, fender-mounted mirrors, rear wheel spats, and polished bumpers with overriders. The hood received bodywork prior to being refinished in 2025. Flaws in the finish are visible.

Steel wheels wear light blue-finished hubcaps and are mounted with wide-whitewall radial tires. The car rides on independent front suspension with torsion bars and a rigid rear axle with semi-elliptical leaf springs. Braking is handled by hydraulic drums all around.

The cabin was refreshed under previous ownership and houses front bucket seats trimmed in red leather that extends to the door panels and rear bench. Color-coordinated carpeting lines the floors, and burl wood veneer accents the dashboard, door caps, and window pillars. Additional appointments include dual gloveboxes, a dash-mounted mirror, a pull-out storage tray, and a fold-down rear armrest.

The four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm reverse-sweep tachometer with an inset clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 19k miles, and total mileage is unknown.

The 3,485cc inline-six features a seven-main-bearing crankshaft, pushrod-operated overhead valves, and twin SU carburetors. Output was rated at 125 horsepower when new. The cylinder head studs and head gasket were replaced in 2016, while work completed between 2025 and 2026 involved rebuilding the carburetors, repairing the electrical system and generator, and replacing the voltage regulator, fuel filter, and a number of fuel and coolant lines.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a floor-shifted four-speed manual transmission.
