This desirable early 3½-litre, right-hand drive saloon has full matching numbers to the original factory records as confirmed by letter from the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club with body number B3956 and engine S706. Purchased from a diseased estate in The Netherlands in 2025 little is known of its prior history but records there show a Dutch Transport ministry certificate of roadworthiness from 2016. Verbally our vendor was informed by the family that the previous keeper was a fanatic of the marque. It certainlyhas had a great deal of expenditure made on it and was available for sale at 60,000 euros in 2024. In addition to the importation to the UK and duty costs our vendor has spent a further significant amount on improvements mainly with Classic Car Clinic in Devon with rebuild of the steering column and seat fixings, and further work done wth a top-end rebuild and new head at a cost of around £5000 and many parts bills adding much more. The car presents very well and shows sensible modern improvements like an extra front radiator fan and electric choke.

The car now UK registered with a nice age related number and comes with substantial Dutch paperwork including its Dutch reg plates and a spare set of keys.
