This recently restored 1949 Mark IV was acquired by its previous owner in the early 1980s, to be dismantled and stored awaiting restoration. Purchased by Brian Ford in 2015, the Jaguar was finally treated to a detailed rebuild, to be finished in its original shade of grey with a contrasting red leather interior by respected local specialist Piper Trimming.

Included in the history file are a hand-written schedule of restoration work from 2014, with several pages of notes for expenditure totalling in the region of £30,000. Having been stored since restoration, the car will no doubt benefit some servicing and adjustments before being driven. KLH 791 is offered complete with notes containing the schedule of works, older photographs prior to restoration, and UK V5c.
