Details
Offered here is a 1968 MKII 2.4/240, which has been in the same ownership since October 1969. The car was used for 10 years and was then placed in storage from 1979 to 1999. In 1999 the car was released from its confinement and sent off to be recommissioned and overhauled by a restoration company. The interior has been refurbished with the new headlining and carpets, the brake cylinders and pistons are now stainles steel and the exhaust has been replaced with a stainless steel system.

The car is finished in Honey Beige with red interior (Ambla) and is equipped with the 4-speed manual transmission, plus overdrive, It is presented in predominately original condition, together with an encyclopaedic history file, which contains the original warranty and AA Report, from 1969, handbooks and workshop manual and bills, which span the 39 year ownership of the vendor.

Virtually one owner, warranted 81,000 miles and wonderfully original condition.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
