Auction description:

1960 Jaguar Mk II 3.4 Litre
Not Sold
Reg Number: OEE 204
Chassis Number:151484DN
Engine Number: KG3130-8
Cc: 3400
Body Colour: Opalescent Green
Trim Colour: Green
MOT ExpiryDate: Oct 2011

The manual overdrive right-hand drive 3.4 MKII on offer left the factory in 1960 and was road registered as 'OEE 204' shortly thereafter. The coachwork is finished in Opalescent Green and the interior trimmed in Green leather. The vendor informs us that it is an early example (with recessed sun visors) which has been in his care for the last twenty-five years. Apparently 'OEE 204' was treated to a ground up restoration in 2004, when the body, engine, gearbox, power steering, interior trim, woodwork, chrome, and electrics were all attended to. Upgraded with a stainless steel exhaust, alternator conversion and Coopercraft brakes to each corner, the MKII was also treated to new wheels / tyres. This very pretty Jaguar is taxed and MOT'd for almost a year. In the words of the vendor, "it is a beautiful car".

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
