Car to be at auction 3/26

www.aguttes.com//lot/173669/32554404-1967-jaguar-mk2-2-4-chassis-ndeg-128135dn-c ...

Auction description:

1967 Jaguar Mk II 2.4

Estimate €6,000 - €10,000

Aguttes - La Vente de Printemps, Paris, France 15 March, 2026

Lot 95

1967 - Jaguar Mk2 2.4

Chassis no. 128135DN

French registration document

Vehicle sold without a roadworthiness certificate

Note: This "little" Mk2 with a manual gearbox is in very good condition…

The car pictured here is a 2.4 from the final year of production, sold new in France through the importer Delecroix. It is distinguished by its manual gearbox with overdrive. It displays a beautiful patina, with original upholstery, and still comes with its original service booklet, which notably indicates that the car was sold new to a garage in Orléans, an authorized dealer for Morris, MG, Volvo, and Jaguar: Garage Gellet. The booklet is stamped up to 4,000 km. The odometer currently reads 6,152 km… The car, which has not been driven since 2018, will need to be restarted and serviced.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
