Too many cars, its time for me to sell some...For sale is a 1967Jaguar 420 in British Racing Green, with a green interior. I bought this about five years ago from an estate and it needed a lot of mechanical work. I nursed this baby back to health with lots of improvements, almost too many to mention, I am probably going to forget something the list is so extensive! I did the work so I know a lot about this beautiful automobile. Whenever I drive it and am stopped at a light, the person in the car next to me is usually taking a picture of the car of giving me a "thumbs up"! I'd estimate there's approximately 100 of these left in the US, its a rare car, but mechanically it's essentially an XJ6, so parts are plentiful as many interchange with the XJ6!
All new front end! A sweet XJ-6 rack and pinion conversion (bolt in kit), new springs. Koni shocks. All new front bushings, ball joints, tie rods, etc. Lets face it, the whole front end was rebuilt!
New front calipers, rotors and pads. New brake lines, brake fluid and washer reservoirs and vacuum tank.
4 new rear Boge shocks and springs.
GM alternator conversion (this car was only pumping out 11 volts before and could barely run, now it puts out 13-14 volts).
Breaker-less solid state distributor (like a pertronix, but better from England) NO POINTS to ever have to mess with!
Stainless steel Bell exhaust system
Upgraded digital radio with ipod input (aux in) kenwood speakers and subwoofer. Electric, telescoping antenna.
All fluids have been flushed multiple times.
The air conditioning works too, it blows ice cold!
Even the clock works!
