Ebay item 3/5/08
1991.It is # 171. There are only 170 others registered and tagged in the USA at that time. This car is RARE. They only made them for one year. It was going to be the new XJ-6, but although the car was excellent, the public thought it looked too much like the Mark II S- type. Production was stopped and two years later the new series one XJ-6 came out. Only around a 1000 (one thousand ) cars were sent to USA. We drove this car for years. It has sat for 4 years as it went through a divorce. It is being sold now. Car runs fine. Flushed old gas and she fired right up. The air conditioning unit was rebuilt with new correct compressor , new hoses and charged with the new R-134, instead of the old R-12 you cannot get anymore. Gets down to 31 degrees. Original radio works, 4 way flashers work, vacume fresh air vents works. Paint is tired. I was going to paint it back beige , but got divorced instead. It is still insured , tagged and driven. It needs a new home where it won't sit again for years. This is the 420 NOT the 420G that was bigger and like a Mark 10. This car is not a perfect $100,000.00 car, but is a in real nice 420 and not priced high.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
