Current bid $4,047 reserve not met, 10 bids, 9 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This is a well-maintained turnkey Mark I that has been used on a regular basis & driven about 60 miles weekly. The engine was rebuilt 10,000 miles ago, new front & rear suspension, new cooling fan, fog lights, electronic ignition, chrome wire wheels, 4-speed manual transmission with over-drive. Always garage kept and cared for. Looks great and runs very strong. Hard to find a good Mark I & half the price of a Mark II!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
