This particular example is a 1958 Jaguar 3.4 Litre Saloon, a desirable right-hand drive UK-supplied car built on 4 September 1958 and dispatched on 12 September 1958 to its supplying distributor S.H. Newsome of Coventry. The original registration WRW 382 is recorded along with the first owner W.J. Belgrove.

According to the Jaguar Heritage Trust Production Record Certificate, the car retains its original factory specification including: Chassis number: S 974607 DN, Engine number: KF 1226-8, Body number: E 010138, Gearbox: GBN 20072 JS, Transmission: Manual with overdrive.

The car was originally finished in Cornish Grey with Dark Blue interior trim, a wonderfully elegant and period-correct colour combination that perfectly suits the graceful lines of the Mark I.
