ONE OWNER SINCE 1963, RUST FREE, CALIFORNIA BLACK PLATE CAR! This very original California car has been owned by the same person since 1963. It is obvious that the car has been in the dry California climate for its entire life. Evidence of this is supported by the pile of registration stickers on the original black and gold license plate. There are very few Mark II's remaining that are rust free. This vehicle has been photographed on a lift and it is clear that it is 99% rot free. The paintwork, which was redone 15 years ago, still presents very well. There is no evidence of any previous serious accident damage. It starts first time on the button and drives well for a fifty year old car. The engine does not smoke and the brakes work great. Just fitted new ignition wires and new o-ring seal in power steering box. The seats are in decent condition, but the springs in the seats feel a little soft. The dining trays behind the front seats are still intact and in working condition. We encourage inspection of the vehicle, but it must be completed prior to the end of the auction. The car is located at Winning Makes in Santa Barbara, CA.
