Ebay item 7/16/10

Opening bid $4,500, no reserve, no bids yet 9 days left in auction. 125k miles.

Sellers description:
1962 JAGUAR MK2 4-Door Sedan with 3.8 Litre 6-cylinder engine and uncommon 4-speed manual transmission PROJECT CAR in need of restoration.

This outstanding British "Saloon" car was originally purchased by the current owner in 1990-91 with the intention of doing a complete restoration.

The engine was rebuilt in 1996 and the car was briefly driven during this time as the restoration began.

The interior was partially removed before the project was abandoned due to a divorce. The car has been garaged since purchased and was last driven in the early 2000's.

With the exception of the interior floors, only surface rust appears to be present on the outer body. The worst area is around the driver's side rocker panels although this still appears solid though needing attention right away.

One small dent is present on the front left fender above the bumper. Otherwise the outer body appears straight and no known bodywork or wreckage has been noted.

The owner believes that all original parts remain, but it is possible that a few small parts could be missing. The engine and drive-train are believed to be the original equipment. The mileage of 125060 is titled as 'non-actual'. The true actual mileage is not known.

Currently the car is not running. No battery is currently installed or available. The tires hold air and the vehicle could be towed.

All removed parts are shown in the photos and are to be included with vehicle.

This classic 1962 Jaguar MK2 with XKE engine books upwards of 40K in restored condition. Here is your opportunity to find a complete project car for a very good price.

Vehicle is located in West Jefferson, Ohio (43162).
