Car has a buy it now price of $28,500 for 5 days, seller Restoration Warehouse LLC, 8k miles stated
Seller's description:
1963 Jaguar MK 2 -- White exterior, Burgundy interior. This example has been fitted with a 5.7L fuel-injected engine, a modern, high-torque upgrade that retains the driving character and visual elegance of the original Mk 2 while delivering contemporary performance and reliability. The car shows just under 9,000 miles total since the restoration which is believed to be almost 20 years ago.
Factory-original features (as specified for the 1963 Jaguar MK 2)
- Elegant coachwork and proportions: classic Jaguar saloon body with swept roofline, pronounced rear haunches, and chrome trim lining the windows and bumpers. Twin round headlamps and a distinctive upright grille lend the car its unmistakable period presence.
- Luxurious fitted interior: deep burgundy leather upholstery and matching door panels, set against richly veneered walnut trim on the dash and window cappings. The dashboard houses a wood-rimmed fascia with neatly arranged instrument dials.
- Seating and comfort: supportive front individual seats with separate backrests and a roomy rear bench, hand-finished leather surfaces, and a central fold-down armrest for rear passengers. High-quality carpeting and a cloth headlining complete the refined cabin environment.
- Chassis and suspension: a well-engineered platform with independent front suspension for composed handling and a robust rear axle tuned for balance and ride comfort -- delivering the supple, engaging ride that made the Mk 2 notable in its day.
- Braking and steering: four-wheel disc brakes (a distinguishing performance feature of the Mk 2) for effective stopping, combined with direct rack-and-pinion steering. Power steering was available as an option for additional low-speed ease.
- Transmission choices (factory): the MK 2 was offered with a 4-speed manual gearbox (with optional overdrive) or an automatic transmission in period-correct specification; gear selection ergonomics and linkage were designed to suit spirited or relaxed driving.
- Practical fittings and appointments: heater and ventilation controls integrated in the dash, centrally located ashtray and cigarette lighter (period items), glove compartment, and an AM/FM/Bluetooth radio provision -- all finished with chromed switchgear and toggle controls typical of early-1960s Jaguar workmanship.
- Wheel and exterior options: polished chrome details, optional wire wheels and brightwork accents to complement the White exterior finish.
Condition and presentation
This Mk 2 is in excellent overall condition, with a clean White exterior finish that contrasts attractively with the Burgundy leather interior and walnut trim. Mechanical updates -- including the 5.7L fuel-injected engine -- have been installed sympathetically, enhancing driveability while preserving the car's classic character. Exceptional low mileage and careful ownership history combine to make this an outstanding example for collectors and enthusiasts seeking a ready-to-drive classic with modern performance.

This 1961 Jaguar Mk II is believed to have been refurbished in the early 2000s, and it is powered by a 350ci Tuned Port Injection V8 linked with a four-speed automatic transmission. The car is refinished in white over burgundy leather with walnut trim, and additional equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ wire wheels, Dolphin gauges, a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo, a Lokar shifter, a center console, tilt steering, and Vintage Air air conditioning. This Mk II was acquired by the selling dealer in August 2025 and is now offered with a clean Tennessee title listing the car as a 1963 model year.
The car is refinished in white, and exterior equipment includes a Leaper hood ornament, a pop-up cowl vent, and chrome wraparound bumpers with overriders as well as a chrome grille, window surrounds, trim, and dual exhaust outlets. Rust is noted in the lower rear door jambs and paint imperfections are visible.
The 15″ wire wheels are mounted with Coker Classic redline tires . The car was factory equipped with an independent front suspension and a cantilevered live rear axle. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The car is equipped with power steering.
The cockpit features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in burgundy leather upholstery along with matching door panels. Burl walnut veneers adorn the dashboard, door caps, and window frames, and interior equipment includes a Kenwood AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo, Vintage Air air conditioning and controls, a 12V power socket, a Lokar shifter, a center console, and front and rear vent windows. The heater switch is missing.
The leather-wrapped, four-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column. It fronts Dolphin instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and centrally positioned auxiliary gauges displaying water temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 8k miles, approximately 20 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. Wear is noted on the gauge surrounds.
The 350ci Tuned Port Injection V8 was installed under previous ownership and is equipped with finned valve covers, an aluminum radiator, and an aftermarket accessory drive.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a TH200-4R four-speed automatic transmission and a dual exhaust system with quad tailpipes.
