NO RUST BUBBLES AND UNDERCARIIAGE HAS NOO RUST DAMAGE AND IS IN GOOD CONDITION SOME OF THE CHROME NEEDS TO BE REDIPPED AND A FEW OTHER FIXINGS NOTHING REAL MAJOR THE CAR HAS NOT SEEN ANY WINTERS WAS KEPT IN GARAGE
Good condition vehicle, was my fathers collector car he recently passed away and it has been in the garage ever since, the electrical work in the whole car has been completly redone, it is all origanal everything and is ready to move, i dont want this nice car to just sit in the garage and i dont know what to do with it, great collectors item.
Good: brand new wiring throughout the car
– Black repaint original color, looks reasonably well done, not buffed out in tight spaces, a few obvious defects that can be touched in.
– Upholstery is sound and leather soft except for sun damaged rear seat back with big split . Red leather is faded but original and could be brought back.
– Wood is quite good, appearing refinished, except one spot at right side window vent where water damaged – 2”-3” x1”
– Carpets are acceptable
– Most knobs, etc are there
– Front underside frame looks solid and unrusted– Car was driven within the past 2 months about 30 miles.
– No rust bubbles showing in body
– No rust through to interior at rear spring perches
– No door rust
– Underside of car looks clean and generally unrusted
– Doors, bonnet and trunk open and close well.
– Panel gaps look even
To be noted:
– Driver window doesn’t operate– Chrome is mixed. Bumpers & tail lights, need a redo. Rest of chrome shows some corrosion, which could be polished out, but will reappear without frequent attention. wire wheels OK,
the actual milage is 22,109 miles and they are all original miles and it has not been in any accidents
also the car has a new clutch and new steering wheel and also a brand new wiring harness with brand new electrical throughout the car that cost 3,000 dollars and there is no rust in the quarter panels (which i know is a common problem in these cars)

Lot #157416
This 1961 Jaguar Mk II is powered by a 3.8-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and it is finished in black over red leather. The car is said to have been refurbished at some point prior to the current owner’s acquisition in 2010. Equipment includes fog lights, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ wire wheels, front bucket seats, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a touchscreen head unit, and a back-up camera. This Mk II is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a car cover and a Washington title listing the car as a 1962 model.
The car is finished in black and has a Leaper hood ornament, fog lights, a pop-up cowl vent, and chrome wraparound bumpers with overriders as well as a chrome grille, window surrounds, trim, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 15″ wire wheels are mounted with Pirelli P4 tires. The car was factory equipped with an independent front suspension and a cantilevered live rear axle. The car has power steering, and stopping power is handled by four-wheel disc brakes.
The cockpit features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in red leather upholstery along with color-coordinated door panels. Burl walnut veneers adorn the dashboard, door caps, and window frames. A Kenwood touchscreen head unit and back-up camera have been installed.
The wood-rimmed XKE-style steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock. The steering column and wiring for the horn have been repaired, and play in the column is reported. Centrally positioned auxiliary gauges display water temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 3k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 3.8-liter XK inline-six was factory rated at 220 horsepower and 237 lb-ft of torque. The water pump was replaced in 2019.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive and a limited-slip differential. The clutch and master cylinder were replaced in 2023, and the selling dealer notes that further adjustment is required. Corrosion is noted on chassis components.
A car cover, literature, spare parts, and records are included in the sale.
The current Washington title carries a “Classic” brand.
At the conclusion of the auction, a portion of the proceeds from the sale will be directed to KNKX, an independent public radio station serving Oregon and the Northwest. It is governed by the 501(c)(3) nonprofit group “Friends of 88.5-FM” and is committed to “inspire, educate and entertain across the region.”
