This is a truly spectacular matching numbers Mark 2 Jaguar. Sold last year on e-bay for $23,500.00 the owners reluctantly offer this low mileage and very original vechicle for sale again due to space restraints. Yes is has covered less than 50,000 miles from new. Since purchase this car has had a complete new exhaust system featuring 2 NOS mufflers and a complete top end overhaul. This Jag is completely rust free and totally original. Even the intermediate speed hold works, which is almost unheard of ! There are no signs of any accident damage and the body is straight with nice door gaps and panel fit. The engine starts easily from cold and pulls smoothly and powerfully through the gears, returning to a nice idle. The ride, steering and handling is of a very high standard without noise or fuss. The car has been repainted a few years back, by a real perfectionist as all chrome, rubber looks to have been replaced at that time. The interior has nice wood and has had the seats recovered in Vynil some time ago. Additional recent work includes new fuel pump, renu process carried out on fuel tank, tyres, some front suspension work and a nice removable face CD player system has been added. Yes there are some small oil leaks and the auto trans has the usual slow shift into second and early shift into top. The car is currently registered in California until July.
