Ebay item 3/17/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $6,100 reserve not met, 3 bids 5 days left in auction. Buy it now price $34,900. Complete VIN on this car is J61P215046.

Sellers description:
This very original Mk 2 (it even has the original glass windscreen washer reservoir under the hood) is the product of a ground-up restoration. A garage find that was discovered half disassembled, its disassembley was completed, and every nut, bolt, washer and seal was either cleaned or replaced. The body, with no rust, was stripped to bare metal and repainted. All woodwork was stripped and varnished. The seats were reupholstered using elk hides, which look beautiful, are rugged, and very soft. The car has approximately 500 miles on it since the restoration was completed. There are some small flaws on the right front fender and above the grill, but these can be easily addressed.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
