Ebay item 3/6/08 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $2,025 reserve not met, 7 bids, 8 days left in auction. 56k miles.
Sellers description:
This car is very unusual. They modeled the new XJ6 from the teardrop grille of this classic car. I've only seen one other on the streets in the last 15 years. This car will run, but has a gas leak from a small hose near the carb, which should be very easily replaced. The tranny does leak a little, but otherwise the car is in good shape. It needs to be gone thru before driving, however, since its been parked for quite a few years. Its a tribute to the car that it still starts! The rust on the car is minimal, as its been in Utah for most of its life. There is slight bubbling near the turn signals (hood mounted) and near the rear fender wells. The car is a VERY good candidate for a daily driver or a full-on restoration. Engine was totally rebuilt by last owner about 10 years and 10,000 miles ago. Car has always been in the garage since I've owned it (the last 10 years) and has only been moved out in the last 2 weeks to show it to sell it and to take photos.

Car returns to ebay 3/14/08 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-RARE-beautiful-1961-Jaguar-MKII_W0QQitemZ32022726 ...
Current bid $1,025 reserve not met, 18 bids, 4 days left in auction.
Seller added the following description:
I took the car to a mechanic and we discovered that the car runs pretty well. We fixed a fuel line leak near the carb and I am having new brake lines put on the car. Everything else worked fine except the horn. It runs smoothly, but does have an oil leak. He said the oil leak may or may not clear up when the car is being driven. The underneath of the car looks pretty solid. Doesn't appear to be any rust in the floor pans.
Previous auction ended at $2,225 reserve not met after 9 bids.
