This example of the 250 V8 has been the subject of considerable restoration by Vergeo Restorations, which began in 2009 and was completed in 2012. The works included strip down and steam clean of car after removal of all doors, chrome, lights and interior. Removal of any corroded metal and let in new, fit 4 new jacking points, strip and repair doors, full, bare metal repaint (80% of body stripped), full retrim with Connolly hide in black, new Black and Wood Carpet and under felt, new Motolita steering wheel, refurbish interior wood trim, new headlining and sun visors, complete brake overhaul, chrome wire wheels, new exhaust, battery plugs, stainless steel water pipes, now water hoses, electric cooling fan, new radiator, new oil cooler, thermostat and new period number plates.

Finished in white with the black Connolly hide interior the car was stored for some 20 years when in the ownership of a university professor. The last owner had the car from 2007 and the vendor has covered around 100 miles since the restoration was finished.

This Daimler is offered complete with the registration AIL 31 and has an MoT through to April 2014.
