The model presented was delivered new by Royal Elysée in France and first registered in 1967. Aesthetically, the sedan makes a statement with its plunging grille and sculpted hips. Sporting a navy-blue paint finish, the car has a patina consistent with its age. Inside, sand-colored leather upholstery and wood trim are equally marked by the effects of time. The large front seats offer notable comfort, demonstrating that Jaguar was clearly looking to chase Rolls-Royce's turf.
In 2022, this model underwent renovation work, notably on the brakes and rear axle, with the replacement of discs, pads and shock absorbers. A mechanical overhaul was also carried out, including replacement of the clutch, alternator, radiator, spark plugs and rectification of the flywheel, at a total cost of around €19,000.
Choosing this Jaguar 420 is a great opportunity to experience British phlegm.
The description of the vehicle is based on information provided by the seller, who remains solely responsible for the condition of the property.
