Current bid US $2,000 reserve not met 1 bid 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1964 Jaguar MKII 3.8S. I purchased this car about a year ago with great plans to restore it to it's original beauty but have decide to sell it as is and let someone else enjoy the experience. This is a california , rust free car. I believe I am the second owner of title based on the prior owners knowledge. This car was running approximately 8 years ago and was stored in a garage when I heard it was for sale. I had brand new radial tires put on it and had the wire wheels polished. The car was given a good bath and I did a little interior repair work. The motor turns over freely but I have not tried to start it. It will require a full service to get it back on the road again. It is fully licensed until January, 22nd, 2015 and insured. I purchased all new brake lines but have not installed them. I also bought a complete door weather seal kit from XK's Unlimited as the old weather seals were removed when the car was initially cleaned.
The chrome on the car is in decent shape, and the body is fairly straight. There is some slight rust on the rear body fin under the bumper . Not a major deal! If you have been looking for one of these rare cars to restore then look no further. I have set a fair reserve on this car and believe the new owner will be happy with the overall condition it is in. It will require some restoration effort as it has been sitting for a number of years. I have the original seat belts in a box along with the factory air cleaner that I refurbished.

Car returns to ebay 7/3/17 www.ebay.com/itm/1964-Jaguar-Other-sedan-/222567827412
Opening bid US $1,000, no reserve, no bids 6 days left in auction, seller compulsiveshopperjim, 44k miles, car now said to be in Tustin, California.
Sellers description:
This is a very nice NO RESERVE Jaguar 3.8 S it has been in storage a long time and has little to no rust, just surface rust in a couple of minor areas. The car is complete with the exception of a rear tail light lens, a dash toggle switch, spare tire and toolkit. The car was put into storage many years ago for an anticipated restoration. It is a California car. All the systems on the car will need to be gone through to make it a road worthy car. Interior wood is in very good shape and would require minimal finishing and clear coat. Seats are in good shape. Restored cars like this are now going for mid to high five figures. The engine turns over and ran a few seconds with starter fluid, so I don't believe that it wouldn't take long to get it running. The tires were replaced and never used. Every penny you put into the restoration of this car will surely be a positive return on your investment. This would be a great entry level car to work on. The Car rolls, steers, and the e-brake works.
