This 1967 Jaguar Mk II was sold new to its first owner in Larchmont, New York, and was acquired by the seller in 2023 from its second owner of 50 years. Subsequent recommissioning after a period of storage included fluid changes, rebuilding the carburetors and generator, and replacement of the tires, tie rods, and battery. It is finished in off-white over black leatherette and powered by a 3.4-liter inline-six linked with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes, body-color 15″ steel wheels with hubcaps, front bucket seats, a heater, and a Blaupunkt push-button radio. This Mk II is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, factory service manuals, historical registration documents, service records, a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate, and transferable New York registration in the seller’s name.
The car left the factory finished in Valentine Beige and was repainted approximately two decades ago. Exterior equipment includes a Leaper hood ornament, a pop-up cowl vent, and chrome wraparound bumpers with overriders as well as a chrome grille, window surrounds, trim, and dual exhaust outlets.
The body-color 15″ steel wheels feature hubcaps and wear 185-width Vredestein Sprint Classic tires that were mounted under current ownership. The car was factory equipped with an independent front suspension and a cantilevered live rear axle. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The steering column was reportedly rebuilt and the tie rods were replaced in May 2024.
The cockpit features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black leatherette upholstery along with color-coordinated replacement carpets. The burl walnut veneers were refinished under previous ownership, and interior equipment includes a heater, front and rear vent windows, front and rear lap belts, and a push-button Blaupunkt radio. There is a blemish in the upholstery.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock, and centrally positioned auxiliary gauges displaying water temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 65k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.4-liter XK inline-six was factory rated at 210 horsepower and 213 lb-ft of torque. Recommissioning in May 2024 after a period of disuse included fluid changes, rebuilding the carburetors and generator, and installing a replacement battery.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate lists serial numbers, factory colors, a manufacture date of January 27th, 1967, and distribution through Jaguar Cars of New York. Manufacturer’s literature, factory service manuals, service records, and historical registration documents are also included in the sale.
The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for a vehicle of its age. It is being sold on its registration.
