Here is a lovely example of Jaguar’s grand old dame from the late ‘50s, even if our example was actually built in 1960. It’s finished in two-tone grey with a period red leather interior, with of course lots of wood on the dash and door cappings. It’s all in good condition with just a bit of patina showing. This example has nice touches too such as rear wheel spats, front driving lights, a ‘leaping Jaguar’ emblem on its majestic nose, and a factory sunroof. It’s in nice condition throughout. Just over a year ago almost $12,000 (receipts included) was spent on a thorough mechanical rejuvenation which included new components in the suspension, steering and brakes, new engine mounts, new mufflers, thermostats and radiator hoses, a reconditioned water pump, new batteries, the list goes on. Basically, everything that needed it was renewed, rebuilt or replaced. Oil leaks were addressed, and a general service done as well. So our Jaguar Mk IX is ready to go and be enjoyed by the family for club runs or just weekend cruising. It comes with an original set of books, some receipts and will be offered for sale unregistered.
