Sellers description:
1958 Jaguar MK VIII, once owned by British Royalty.
I bought this car a couple years ago with the idea of adding her to my antique limo service. The plan was to change motor/trans/rear end and add A/C. This obviously never happened, not enough time-money-energy. The car ran when I bought it, but the primary fuel pump was VERY loud. It quit soon after. I never fixed it, since I was going to discard it all anyway. With just a little time and effort, she can run again!!! And for you purists, it can all stay original. I have kept every part she came with. The only thing not attached are the fuel pumps.
Yes, it leaks everwhere. They all do.
New Coker radial tires $800 alone.
Radiator did leak a little last time it ran, obviously would need some work there.
The body is in great shape. There are a few bubbles at the bottom of the doors, and you can see a little body work in one, but all in all, very nice.
The seats were redone not too long ago. It could use new carpet. The wood dash is not in great shape, but is all there, and can be redone if wanted. It is definitely usable as is.
