Sellers description:
This two-tone green Jag is in great condition and has the rare Borg Warner automatic transmission. It was purchased new by an owner of a dairy in Omaha, Nebraska. It was painted to match the milk trucks. I bought the car in 1989 and am the third owner. After the original owner died, a man in Omaha bought the car from the estate around 1980. He proceeded to restore the car by completely rebuilding the engine and transmission, re-upholstering the leather interior and carpets and re-painting the car. Also, the Jags of this vintage had poor brakes. He performed a common conversion by installing a Ford power brake unit to improve braking performance. The car has several unique features - a factory sliding sunroof, rear door safety locks to prevent doors being opened from inside for kid "proofing", dual gas tanks with 20.5 gallon capacity and twin electric fuel pumps and side air vents plus a center vent at the top of the dash. This car cruises great and handles very well. Total weight is about 4,000 pounds. Fuel economy is around 16 mpg. The car has not been smoked in.
