Ebay item 1/30/07
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-MK-VII-M-1954-Jaguar-Mark-VII-M-MK-VII-M_W0QQitem ...
Opening bid $10,000 reserve not met, no bids yet, 9 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1954 Jaguar Mark VII M This car is a British imported Jaguar with right-hand drive and a 4-speed manual transmission. According to everything I have available (the title and a letter from a previous owner), the 72,000 miles is the actual mileage. The "M" model took over in 1954 and upped the horsepower rating out of the XK 6 cylinder engine from 160 bhp to 190 bhp and also included some styling upgrades. This MK VII M is a great driver car for someone who wants to be seen around the town or for a restorer, it is a great collectible. It is by no means a show car: there are a few flaws in the paint, the driver's seat needs to be reupholstered, it could stand at least new front carpet, and some of the chrome trim could be replaced, but the bumpers are in fine shape... Still, from ten feet away, this Jaguar is a stunner. Mechanically it is sound with a couple of exceptions: one of the two gas tanks has a small hole in it, so it is only running on one tank (9.5 gallons), and the tachometer and fuel gauges aren't working. The Mark VII M also comes with an original owner's manual and a service manual.
