Sellers description:
This 1950 Jaguar Mark V 3 1/2 Litre Three Position Drop Head Coupe is Primrose with a Green Connolly leather interior and Light Tan convertible top. It is an all matching numbers car including the gearbox. The car reads 8,000 miles on the odometer and though we have no proof that this is the accurate mileage we feel that it is correct by the authenticity and condition of the car. The car spent many years in storage and was rarely driven. The previous owner restored the car over a 10 year period, but unfortunately passed away before its completion. There are some minor items on the car that should be completed; however, 98% of the car was restored. We have almost 50 photographs of the restoration, and a Jaguar Heritage Certificate.
The car is in excellent condition and it is ready be driven and enjoyed right away. During the restoration the car was completely stripped and repainted. A new leather interior using Connolly hides was installed with new Wilton carpeting. The Convertible top and Headliner are new as well as the boot cover. The brightwork is excellent throughout. Mechanically the car is in magnificent condition and is an absolute pleasure to drive. The engine is quiet and smooth with no sign of smoke and the transmission shifts precisely and smoothly.

Sellers description:
Few left-hand drive (U.S.) versions of the beautiful MK V's were built and very few were in the 4-passenger, 3-position convertible form. Gorgeous in ivory with dark green leather and matching wheels, beige carpets and convertible top and walnut facia and fitted with the larger 3.5-litre, twin carburetor, 6-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual transmission. The large rear fender skirts continue the flowing lines of the running boards and large chrome Landau irons and twin Lucas driving lamps complement the pre-war design. As elegant as it is luxurious and most unique with the convertible top being able to offer a fully-closed or fully open car or a closed and private rear compartment with an open front compartment. Fabulous condition.
