Disclaimer: This car may be misidentified as 637160 which is elsewhere in this database complete with a Heritage Certificate. The auction listing here is as the seller states, the information has not been verified. The Chassis Plate pictured is a reproduction, that has inadvertently been restamped 637160 instead of what is believed to be the correct number 637150.

This Jaguar MK IV is finished in cream, with chrome trim elements and a black three-position soft-top roof, over a maroon leather interior with elegant wood inlays on the dashboard and door cards.
It rides on 18-inch wire wheels with two-eared knock-offs, wrapped in Excelsior Stahl Sport Radial tyres.
The MK IV features semaphore-style indicators, live axle suspension with semi-elliptic springs and lever-arm dampers, Burman worm-and-nut steering, and Girling mechanical drum brakes.
CONDITION
Specific notes from the seller include: one door has a few small rust bubbles starting; the prior owner had the car resprayed and reupholstered after 1995; there are two hairline cracks above the boot lid; the accelerator occasionally sticks when starting the car in neutral - engaging the clutch stops this; the key barrel can be a little sensitive at times due to the age of the tumblers; one wing mirror has a replacement insert that is smaller than the original elliptical mirror.
SERVICE HISTORY
This Mk IV’s most recent service was completed in February 2024 at an indicated 19,184 miles, where The Garage Kyneton replaced the points, ignition coils and spark plugs, repaired the distributor cap, cleaned the air filters, overhauled the carburetors, and ordered a new rocker cover gasket to be fitted by the owner.
Prior to this, it was serviced and given a roadworthiness inspection by Superior Mechanical in November 2022.
