Very rare RHD car exported to Switzerland from new:
First owner: Ernest Adler, place de la Fusterie 9, Geneva.
2.owner from around 1964: Paul L. Frachebourg, 7, rue du Mont-Blanc, 1201 Genève, I bought the car in January 2000 from a dealer after it had been stored in a the vineyard barn of the 2.owners mother in Saxon/ Valais. It had only 46'303 km then, which was verified by the last owner Paul Frachebourg.
I repainted the car, replaced the moth eaten headliner, the carpets and the aluminum conrods with steel ones from a 3.4 litre XK engine for reliability reasons . Everything else is still original. Car will be finished this summer.

    Car now offered at:

    www.autoscout24.ch/de/d/jaguar-mk-4-limousine-1948-occasion&accountid=981685&backurl=%2Fautos%2Fjaguar%3Fyearfrom%3D1930%26yea ...

    Seller's description:

JAGUAR MK 4 (Limousine) CHF 80'000.–

We offer here, on behalf of a customer, a probably unique vehicle:

Swiss delivery in 1948 on behalf of the Swiss army / general staff. After that, the vehicle was first owned for many years and was subsequently first sold and then shut down.

In 1998 the car underwent a partial restoration and became the property of a Jaguar enthusiast.

The interesting and extensive vehicle history proves this.

The Jaguar 3.5 Liter MK-IV is in original condition, is certified and has matching numbers!

    The interior is unrestored.

Vehicle from service and MFK (veteran) 05.2020

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
