Opening bid $29,500, no reserve, 5 days left in auction, seller belleville123, 55k miles
Seller's description:
RARE original condition 1947 Jaguar Mark IV Saloon 1.5L, right hand drive. Car is a great candidate for a premium full restoration to make into a world class show car, or preserve the car in its original condition. The engine was already professionally calibrated and tested, by a professional Jaguar mechanic.
The car is in Winchester, Virginia - which is approximately 1 hour (~60 miles) from Dulles Airport (IAD)
The speedometer and temp gauge were professionally serviced and calibrated, ready to be reconnected. The gas tank was removed and serviced, ready to be reconnected. The radiator was removed and serviced, ready to be reconnected. The exhaust pipes should be replaced. Leather seats are original condition. Tires should be replaced. A great candidate for full restoration. Please see photos for conditions. Car has not been driven in over 15 years.
Sale price INCLUDES vintage Instruction Manual (it appears to be an original printing), Service Manual (reprint), and informational book about the Jaguar SS Saloon Cars. Sale ALSO includes the European wide-style license plates (front and rear).
NOTE: I also have a matching pair (front and rear) of original and beautifully restored 1947 Virginia plates available for sale separately if you plan to register the vehicle in Virginia and want to potentially register them for use on the car.
