Sellers description:
1962 Jaguar MRK X. The car is very clean and has no visible rust or dents, the floors look solid and clean. The restoration was done awhile ago, I am not sure when. The body panels look very straight, if there is bondo in them someone did a quality job. The paint is base clear and polished, not a maaco paint job. There are a few chips on the rocker panel , but nothing major. All the original chrome and bumpers are intact, the front bumper does have a slight crease on the right side.Some of the chrome is worn and or fading. The interior looks very nice with minimal wear. The dash is clean and the guages look original and in decent shape. The car runs and drives very nicely. The engine is not original, in fact it was converted to a mopar 440 and 727 tranny. The convertion looks like a good job. I dont have specifics on the yr of the motor, but it does have alot of power, engine does not smoke or make any noises(slight exhaust leak). This car was featured in a magizine according to the last owner who resides in northern california. Overall I would call this car to be about 8.5 on a scale of 1-10. This car is clean enough to show. This is a very unique and rare jaguar, I put the reserve at a very low price. I have owned this car for about 3 years and I am only selling it due to my economical situation.I have a clean tittle in hand and the car is registered in wa state as a collectors car. I am not a jaguar expert but most of the car looks very original,except the drive train and exhaust. Classisc car with muscle under the hood.
