Looks and drives great! Wood is gorgeous, upholstery is in excellent condition. Complete original tool kit, spare, jack, lug spanner, A/C runs cold. Owners Manual, complete Shop Manual and Parts List.
This vehicle was purchase 14 years ago. It has a Heritage Certificate. There are original books and shop manuals. The car was original a Black exterior with Black leather which has been changed to red while under restoration. During his ownership there has been extensive work. The engine was completely rebuilt; the transmission was swapped out from a Borg Warner to an American unit. The suspension was also reworked with new springs and shocks. This is a solid good running driver.
Body: Very good. The paint job appears mostly original and is showing its age. There are areas where rust is coming through. Places such as lower doors [update 7/17/18 - doors have been repaired!] and engine cowling are rusting. The body lines are straight. All body gaps are tight and well aligned. The vehicle glass is all correct and scratch free. Trim is in very condition. Chrome is in very good condition without scratches. Trunk is in very good condition. The vehicle retains the original tool kit. Trunk carpets are well preserved. An original spare and jack are present.
Frame & Suspension: Very good. The undercarriage shows some normal road grime commensurate with its age and mileage. A stainless steel exhaust system was present. Tires are radials mounted on steel wheels with hubcaps. Both are in good condition. The front and rear brakes are disc. Stock shocks are retained.
Engine: Very good. The engine compartment is totally stock. All the proper brackets, stickers and wires are used. The ignition is stock. The manifolds are stock. The transmission is a replacement unit by Johns Cars.
Interior: Very good. The dashboard is in like new condition. The gauges are in excellent condition. All the switches and other controls are in excellent condition. The wood work was completely refurbished. The bucket seats and surfaces show some normal wear. The carpets are in very good condition. The door panels are in good condition. Doorjambs are in fair condition.
