Ebay item 12/9/16
www.ebay.com/itm/1965-Jaguar-Other-leather-/162312015358
Opening bid US $4,500, no reserve, no bids 6 days left in auction, seller zolaaa, 73k miles.

Sellers description:
Great old car, was my daily driver for over 10 years, been in storage for the last three years. Pulled it out of storage and fired it up and drove over to my mechanics shop. Has wire wheels with newer correct tires, manual with O/D, body job is 12 years old and showing its age, will need some minor body work. Needs bushings up front, front seats are dry and cracked, needs seat covers headliner was new but has moth holes now with stains, door panels are good, carpets are bad, wood was refinished a while ago and is OK. Chrome is original and showing its age. Had the motor freshened up, runs well, had the rad re-done. Under side is solid but not original. Could drive as is or restore, was originally an automatic and cream exterior, not numbers matching."

Needs front bushings. Converted from a disc wheel car to wires, has newer correct tires.

The rocker skins are a bit rusty, have a couple of holes, but the spring boxes had been re-built.
Mileage showing is 73,318, but in reality is unknown.

Got under the car this afternoon, expect to have to do some repairs on one frame rail, an outrigger and perhaps the floors.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
