Sellers description:
Running, driving project! The mechanical work is to the point of running and it has been driven several times.

It has a clean standard title with no restrictions or liens.

No visible external modifications have been made. The car looks and sounds like an original Mark 2. Maybe it sounds even better with the new stainless steel exhaust system.

A "John's Car's" conversion to a 4.3 Liter GM V-6 and 700R4 OD transmission has been completed on the car.

The original chrome wire wheels are in far better condition than most and with Michelin All Season P195/75 R15 tires.

Many people would not even repaint the "mostly original paint job" for now.

Replaced or Rebuilt
- Engine and transmission were from a 1985 Chev Astro van and were rebuilt. Engine is carbureted by a Carter AFB. Ignition is HEI.

- XJS rack and pinion power steering conversion has been completed. Steers very easy and precise.

- Rebuilt rear suspension

- New brake system and new rotors. Wildwood on front wheels.

- Power brake system has been added.

- New brake system tubing

- New fuel system tubing

- New electric fuel pump with pressure regulator and gauge.

- Ron Francis Wireworks wiring conversion has been performed.

- New SS split exhaust system.

- New Lap and shoulder safety belts front, lap belts rear.

- New interior carpet is completed.

- Boss 650UA 4 speaker stereo system with CD, USB, card slots and remote.

- Underdash and footwell vinyl panels with red courtesy lights

- XJ6 shift indicator mounted on transmission cover

- Bowtie Overdrve's TVI cable system.

- New wiper system, motor, transmission, all components

Partial List of Unfinished Items

- Interior is only partially completed.

- Wood has not been refinished and a few smaller pieces are missing.

- Most of the interior door panels are missing or not usable.

- Tachometer has not been converted to GM

- Heater system is not connected to the GM engine

- Some exterior emblems are missing

- Weather stripping is missing

- Upholstery foam is original and is starting to crumble

- Some of the exterior glass was vandalized with surface scratches. Replacement glass is included.

- The steering column gaskets and bearings need replacing

Items included but not installed

- New XKS Unlimited grey wool headliner.

- Original headliner bows and fittings.

- All Replacement glass is provided for doors, rear window and windscreen.

- New rubber gaskets for front and rear glass.

- Original chrome finish trim for front/rear windscreens

Shipping and Spares - Although the car can be driven on a carrier, the buyer will need to package and load the spares which will not fit inside the car and includes the extra set of glass.

- Extra trunk lid with hinges (original on car is fine. This is an extra)

- Full set of salvage glass for front/rear and all four doors

- Extra steering wheel and shaft

- Extra set of 4 - silver painted steel wire wheels in good shape with excellent hubs.

- Extra pair of wheel spats.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
