This spectacular 1963 Jaguar Mark II 3.8 Saloon was built on May 16th of 1961 and the date of dispatch was June 1st of 1961. We acquired this stunning Mark II via trade through a previous collector client of ours. This Jaguar underwent a previous and comprehensive restoration. The Jaguar presented here comes with an all-synchro gear box with electric overdrive, chrome wire wheels, cold blowing air conditioning, power steering, an upgraded aluminum radiator, gear reduction starter and retro Bluetooth radio. We had this car gone through to make it an excellent higher-end driver car. We invested over $7,500 in August of 2025 in upgrades and repairs. The recent work we commissioned is as follows:
Converted the Air Conditioning to R134a.
New AC compressor installed, new AC lines, belts and AC drier.
Overdrive repaired, so it does engage properly.
Oil service.
New Gear Reduction Starter installed.
New Aluminum Radiator with Electric pusher Cooling Fan from Engel Imports installed.
New Europa look Retro Radio installed with Bluetooth function.
Compression test was excellent, of 145 to 150 across all 6 cylinders.
Clutch Master Cylinder replaced.
Overall, this is a gorgeous example of a Jaguar Mark II 3.8. This car can and should be driven anywhere. It is very comfortable, shifts great and stops excellent. The clutch feels great, and it is a pleasure to drive at any speed. There is no rust anywhere on this vehicle and the underside is solid. This Mark II is a wonderful driver and has the desirable 3.8 engine with all synchro 4 speed transmission with electric overdrive. A special saloon to enjoy as a driver with comfort and sensible upgrades.
