1961, Jaguar 3.8 Mark II Manual, overdrive, with Power Steering , Thornton Powerloc Diff and the very rare Derrington, steering wheel. It is being offered here for sale on in its ground up restoration, now 85% complete. This car came new, into Brisbane’s then Jaguar agent, Anderson’s Agency’s and was last registered in 1982. The body had no rust anywhere! The underside is now Black etch, with no sound deadener to hide repairs. The car is equiped with new 15 inch Chrome wire wheels, rebuilt power steering, rebuilt engine, transmission, overdrive and diff , re veneered woodwork, new rubber seals throughout, the upper body has been bare metal resprayed and etched in grey. All chrome work is new, as is the entire wiring and lighting system. The car will be completed in late December, by a tradesman with over 40 years experience and 5 Mark II restorations completed. The asking price is $96,000.00, This includes total interior package from Aldridge’s leather upholstery of the U.K. at a cost of over $14,000. which will be arriving mid November. This car has been restored as it was originally built and has matching original numbers and the Jaguar Heritage certificate and complete original Tool kit. Receipts for over $35000.00 in parts and restoration services. Inspections are welcome. Jaguar Heritage, list this car as being Mist Grey paintwork and Maroon interior leather trim. That has now been confirmed. All engine and chassis numbers match the restored items. It will come with new Queensland Roadworthy Certificate The car has now come back from the paint shop and is displaying its original colour Mist grey, The upholstery has been ordered, in Cherry red wih Grey Piping.
