Car has a buy it now price of $105,000 for 20 days. 16k miles.

    Sellers description:
HWM Jaguar Special, Inspired by hill climb ace Phil Scragg's HWM Jaguar-engined Special of the 1950's, this unique all alloy recreation is the work of New Zealand specialists, Tempero. Better known for their C and D types, Tempero built this one-off for a noted collector who wanted to combine 50's period styling with a more powerful 4.2 engine with triple carbs, overdrive gearbox and disc brakes. Featured in multiple magazine articles and presented in well sorted condition, this car is truly unique. Founded in 1946 HWM (Hersham &Walton Motors at Walton on Thames) by the drivers George Abecassis and John Heath, HWM cars were made for hill climb, daily use, and track. Their formula 3 cars had a considerable reputation. Initially Alta engined and later Jaguar powered, they were campaigned by the likes of Paul Frere, Stirling Moss, Peter Collins, and Lance Macklin. Having sold cars in only limited numbers the company eventually closed.

This particular car was used for touring and vintage racing events by its original owner with great success, and touring events by me. It has been carefully maintained since it was built by Tempero. It comes with a binder of information on the original HWM and this particular car as well as some pictures of the build. Priced fairly, this car is excellent for vintage racing and touring.

The HWM SPECIAL is all alloy and doble skin as you can see in the pictures, truely a work of art

I believe there are 2 or 3 original JAGUAR HWN 2 SEATERS IN THE WORLD AND MY IS THE ONLY REPLICA EVER MADE. YOU WONT SEE ANOTHER ONE IN YOUR LIFE TIME PROBABLY
