1965 Jaguar Mark X 4.2-litre Four Door Saloon

Estimate: £9,000 - 12,000
This car was part of the collection of the late Terry Cohn, dispersed by Bonhams in 2002. During the 1990s this automatic transmission model had been the subject of extensive restoration that included the removal of all coachwork corrosion and a bare-metal repaint in the elegantly understated colour of Marine Grey. The interior was expertly re-trimmed in beige leather and all veneers refinished. We understand that total expenditure, including both mechanical and cosmetic work, amounted to in excess of £22,500. Accordingly, it is one the nicest example we have seen. Since restoration EWU 720C has covered minimal mileage. This top-of-the-range luxury Jaguar comes with a period list of Service and Sales Facilities, an operating manual, service manual, expired MoT certificates, the last valid to January 2009, and a Swansea V5C registration document.
