The car is very original, except for the external color, it has been professionally repainted years ago in Black. Currently fitted with chromed wire wheels.

€15,500 ($16,994) HIGH BID · May 9, 2023
Rare Daimler Sovereign 420 produced in late 1966 (one of the first) and registered in Italy in early 1967. It was sold by the then importer Bepi Koelliker in Milan and subsequently re-registered in Genoa with the vintage plate and booklet, which it still preserves. One of the 355s produced with left-hand drive of which only a very few had manual gearboxes and overdrive, this is one of them, as confirmed by the Heritage Jaguar certificate present with the car's documentation. Extremely pristine car that was repainted in the past in black (original colour Opalescent Golden Sand) and has just had its entire mechanicals rebuilt (completely new engine, overhauled carburettors, new clutch, etc. see attached photos) by a well-known British car specialist at a documented cost of over 12,000 euros. Underbody in excellent condition. When the engine was removed from the car for overhaul, the entire engine compartment was also restored in its original colour (see detailed photos), so now all you need to do to get a perfect car is to paint just the outside at a much lower cost, of course. The machine is fully functional and has just undergone a ministerial overhaul. The interior is the original and still in good condition. The original tools, service and owner's manual, ASI gold plate certification and Jaguar Heritage certificate are all present. This car represents an excellent opportunity to purchase a very rare model at an attractive price already mechanically in place and with the restoration of the engine compartment (the most demanding one) already completed. It only needs an exterior repaint, which can be carried out without major problems as the bodywork is extremely well preserved without rust and damage, with chrome and profiles in excellent condition, or it can be used immediately as is.
