Description from Charterhouse Auctions, July 2016. Car currently taxed to 1/6/2025.

A 1968 Daimler Sovereign 420 manual overdrive saloon, registration number EYE 605, chassis number 1A-33275DM, engine number 7A 33589-8, dark blue. This barn find rare manual overdrive example of the Daimler Sovereign was originally supplied by Pulborough Motors Ltd, Pulborough to its first owner a K H Sargeant Esquire of Sandgate Lane, Storrington. The Daimler is in very original condition but requires recommissioning and restoration to return to the road. The Daimler is accompanied to auction with its original BP Auto-Care wallet containing its first service receipt, the periodic maintenance voucher booklet with six recorded services (last 01-03-78 at 43,352 miles), a Radiomobile car radio instruction booklet (970/980), maintenance and service book and sales and service book. This very original and low ownership example of an increasingly sought after model is now ready for some TLC and offers an exciting opportunity to the next custodian. V5, no MOT, tax exempt See illustration
