Car to be at auction 2/14
    www.classic-auctions.com/Auctions/26-02-2014-ThePavilionGardens-1364/1966JaguarM ...

    Auction description:
    Sale Date: 26th February 2014

1966 Jaguar MK II 3.4 Litre
    Estimate: (£) 16,000 - 18,000
    Reg Number: KWD334D
    Chassis Number: 170786DN
    Engine Number: KJ9295-8
    Cc: 3442
    Body Colour: Golden Sand
    Trim Colour: Red
    MOT ExpiryDate: July 2014

Supplied new via Cottee & Edwards Ltd to A.P. Woodward Esq, chassis 170786DN is accompanied by its original owner's service policy document, periodic maintenance vouchers booklet and operating manual etc. Laid-up at some stage, the Jaguar was re-registered as `KWD 334D' on July 20th 1987. A comparatively late manual/overdrive MKII, it boasts the more desirable all-synchromesh four-speed gearbox. Displaying an unwarranted but not inconceivable 65,500 miles, the sports saloon appears to pleasingly retain its original 3.4-litre powerplant and red leather upholstery. Treated to over £2,500 of fettling (new clutch, steering column bearing set, brake adjustment etc) since entering the current ownership in 2009, `KWD 334D' is described by the vendor as being in "good" condition with regard to its engine, gearbox, electrical equipment, interior trim, bodywork and paintwork. Sporting a stainless steel exhaust, Coombs-style rear arches and wire wheels, it passed its last MOT on July 12th 2013 with no advisories.
