Car to be at auction in June '07
www.barons-auctions.com/details.php

Auction description:
This 41 year example is said to be in incredible condition having spent the bulk of its existence in the sunny Australian climate. Repatriated, in 2001, to its country of origin, by a long term owner, the car was then dry stored at Hatherbury Mansion, Hertfordshire.

The car was acquired by the vendor in 2003 and has been stored in an Airstream environmental chamber, when not in use and has only been used for the occasional, fair weather, trip to Goodwood and local outings.

Finished in white with superb red leather interior, the car is equipped with the 3.4 litre, XK engine, which is mated to the, three speed, automatic transmission. The car is described as being in very good excellent condition throughout and is said to drive exceptionally well.

A rare opportunity to acquire an unmolested MKII, which has not suffered the ravages of the UK climate.

Note: This description is provided by the vendor and unless otherwise stated is 'Not Verified' by Barons.
Estimate £8000-10000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
