Auction ended at $3,050 after 13 bids.

Sellers description:
1961 Jaguar MKII with 3.8 litre engine and automatic transmission offered for your consideration with no reserve. The car runs and lot drives. It has some rust issues with rocker pannels and front bumper support. The floors and frame are solid and the interior is in decent condition. This is a good car for restoration. Although engine starts and transmition engages car is not considered drivebale because it was sitting for a long time.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
