Car has a buy it now price of $1,000 available for 3 days.

Sellers description:
1960 Jaguar Mk2, with the rare 2.4 liter engine and manual transmission. This car was driven until 1987 when the clutch went. Believe it or not I am only the second owner. I have some of its history and can make it available if it matters. I always intended to restore the car to its former glory but other expenses and needs always took precedence. I have finally decided to give up on my dream and allow my friend in New Hampshire, who has kindly allowed me to keep it there, to finally clear his property. It is sad to just allow it to deteriorate but that is exactly what I did. I had actually purchased another Jaguar MK2 as a parts car in 1996 (which I am now also selling), with the intention of restoring one of the two. I don't recall the mileage on it but is somewhere in the range of 40,000.

This car is obviously not running and in need of a total restoration. All the numbers match, for those of you interested in such things. At this point I think it would be better to call it a parts car only, but I'll let you be the judge. It is all there. The car is located in Northfield, New Hampshire.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
