The car was purchased and then lovingly restored over a number of years and has seen little use since. The car is described as being restored to a high standard whilst keeping the patina of age.

THE INTERIOR
Light blue/grey leather seats are in good condition with just a small amount of patina
The door cards are in excellent condition, along with the wood-capped trims
The burr walnut dashboard is excellent, with no apparent signs of cracking to the lacquered finish
The instruments are in good condition, with just a small amount of tarnishing to the bezels, and they are reported to be working correctly
The odometer reads 52,820 miles and is thought to be original
Switchgear all looks to be original and is reported by the vendor to be working
Original two-spoke steering wheel, there is a small slpit in the surround near the centre badge
Original radio
The rear seat is in good condition with a small amount of patina to the leather
Dark blue carpets compliment the light seats, and it is in good condition, but it would benefit from a clean
Headlining has no sagging
Inside the boot is clean and tidy
There is a tool kit present
The spare wheel is missing
THE EXTERIOR
Fully resprayed in Light Blue Metallic
Restored several years ago by a previous keeper
Headlights and indicators are in good order with no damage to the lenses
The chrome headlight surrounds are in good condition with no tarnishing
The grille is also in excellent condition, along with the front bumpers
Looking down the sides of the MKII Jaguar, the door gaps appear to be equal
There are no dings or dents to point out
A few minor age-related scratches and chips are present
Windows are in good condition with no excessive scratches
The window seals appear to be in good order with no real perishing to them
The rear light units have no splits or cracks
There is a small dent in the rear lower valance which has taken the paint off, but could quite easily be touched in
The rear bumper is like the front and in excellent condition, along with the boot handle
There is some light surface corrosion to the underside in places. The majority of the floor looks like it has been protected with a stone guard-type product
The wire wheels have recently been fitted, there is some light tarnishing, but they should polish up nicely
Fitted with period-looking tyres which have a good amount of tread remaining
THE MECHANICS
2.4 litre straight-six
Four-speed manual gearbox
Starts without hesitation
The vendor reports the car drives as it should, with no untoward noises coming from the transmission, and the gear change is smooth
Overdrive is fitted
No untoward noises are reported to come from either corner of the car
The brakes are said to bring the Jaguar to a halt in a straight line with no juddering through the pedal
The engine bay presents well, with no leaks spotted from the top
Twin Solex carburettors
A slight damp patch on the gearbox was spotted, but no oil was dripping
