Seller ronmon
A charming and characterful British sports saloon, this Jaguar MkII is a right-hand-drive example of the marque’s elegant 1960s model.
It is powered by a 2.4-litre naturally aspirated straight-six, driving the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
The ‘DN’ suffix on the chassis number indicates it left the factory fitted with overdrive.
First registered in 1967, this car was reportedly first registered in England before later being imported to the Netherlands. The seller has owned the car for four years.
The odometer indicates 7,535 miles, though the total mileage from new is unknown.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
This Jaguar MkII is finished in a Navy Blue hue, accented by chrome bumpers and trim, over a black interior.
It rides on 15-inch wire wheels, fitted with Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres.
Equipment includes manual winding windows, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, Smiths and Lucas instrument gauges, and heating and ventilation controls.
Accompanying items are limited, with no handbooks, service books, or other paperwork said to be present.
CONDITION
Specific notes from the seller include: the car had already received prior paintwork before the current ownership. The driver’s seat is noted to have light damage, including a small tear. The dashboard instrument illumination is not working.
SERVICE HISTORY
The seller states that the last service was in April 2024, though there is no paperwork available.
Under the current ownership, the seller reports a minor service and general checkover have been performed, along with the fitment of a new stainless steel exhaust and a nearly new battery.
SUMMARY
This Jaguar MkII 2.4 is a charming example of one of Britain’s most recognisable classic sporting saloons, combining period elegance with the added appeal of a manual gearbox. Imported from England and now registered in the Netherlands, it is presented as an enjoyable classic with recent routine attention.
