Sellers description:
An awesome right hand drive 1962 Jaguar MK2 2.4 with factory overdrive. Car number 113533DN, Engine number BH7381-8, Body number HO451555, Gearbox number GBN64578JS. This rare classic was brought to California from Great Britain sometime in the 1990s and was never registered to be driven here. I purchased the car for parts but it is so complete that I thought I'd give someone an opportunity to purchase it whole before it gets parted out. The body has rust in the fenders, sills, doors, and rear apron. The floors and trunk are surprisingly clean. The glass is all in good shape. Bright work and chrome trim is all good, rear window trim (not pictured) is included. The grille is very nice. Has rare Lucas Ranger and Fog Ranger spot lamps. The rear bumper is removed to show rust in the rear apron. The dash is complete with the full compliment of Smiths gauges and switches. The wood is surprisingly good and should restore nicely. Door panels are present and could be revived with some work. Seat upholstery is shot however all the seat frames are good and would be a solid basis for reupholstering. Under the bonnet the dual carburetor XK6 motor is complete with all ancillaries present including the Lucas washer bottle. The motor turns freely by hand. Inspections welcome during the auction, we're located about 15 miles north of San Bernardino just off old Route 66. I have several NOS body repair panels including door skins, rear spat mount repair panels and more.
