We are listing a very restorable 1961 Jaguar Mark 9 with 99,000 miles on it for one of our consignors. We are relisting it due to the previous buyers inability to arrange for shipping from California.

Here is his description:
" I purchased this car from from the son of the guy who had owned it. The car was last on the road in the 80s. (see the inspection sticker picture) The previous owner had paid someone to take the car apart and paint it. It was originally Black and silver with a red leather interior. I personally tried to take an inventory on the parts and it appears there are only a few interior parts missing. most seem to be door panel and related parts.
It is a 1961 Jaguar MARK 9 with a 3.8 engine with an automatic transmission. The engine has twin cams and dual carbs. The car has a working factory sun roof. The back of the front seats have "picnic tables". They are factory trays that fold down for the rear seat passengers. The car has dual fuel tanks and fender flairs.
The last time the car ran was about 4 1/2 years ago and has been in heated storage since 1983. The car really needs to be put back together and a complete interior redo. The motor and transmission have not been taken apart and all parts are there.
I do not have a title as this car is before 1973 but a Certificate is easily obtained thru DMV. I will have a bill of sale for the purchaser.
